Our time at the 2nd British-Irish Airports EXPO

It was an exciting few days exhibiting at the 2nd British-Irish Airports EXPO at the start of June and we really enjoyed meeting with industry specialists throughout the exhibition. Due to the EXPO’s popularity, this year’s show expanded in size to accommodate many more attendees. There were over 2,000 visitors through the doors to see the exhibitors and attend the EXPO conferences. It was fantastic to see the show attract such a large number of people from our British and Irish airports along with suppliers to the industry. The AIM team headed down the day before the EXPO and there was a vibrant atmosphere from all preparing for the opening of the exhibition.

Throughout the event we were able to discuss with visitors the wide-ranging capabilities of AIM. It was a great opportunity for us to explain how AIM helps to protect against the growing issue of vehicle runway incursions and how the system is a vital tool for CAA compliance evidencing. On our stand we also gave live demonstrations of the system which is currently in use at Doncaster Sheffield (DSA) and Durham Tees Valley Airport (DTVA).

Throughout the two days we were pleased to receive so much positive feedback from industry professionals about the AIM system. There was an overwhelming response for the systems many capabilities and all at a highly competitive price. We were able to share too our incredible response from meeting with the CAA, who see AIM as “having significant safety benefits for airports”. Since the EXPO finished our team have been working extremely hard following up all the enquiries that we received on our stand and arranging appointments with industry professionals around Great Britain and beyond.

It was really valuable for us to speak in detail with leading industry experts. We would like to thank everybody that came by our stand to learn more about the AIM system and look forward to seeing many of you again shortly at your own facility.

If you were not able to attend don’t worry, you can still get in touch with our Business Development Manager Ian Wood at ian@simplytrak.com to arrange a meeting to discuss your requirements and for a full demonstration.
